Studio apartment two blocks away from the square (great for farmer's market!), next to 2 major bus stops (I take the 2, 5, 10, 28, 81 to get to various places on state street, campus, the vet school, the UW hospital; or when weather is not frigid I bike everywhere which takes me <10 mins to get to campus), across the street from a convenient deli, and easy walking distance to bars and restaurants.
Available June 1st to July 31st.
Can leave furnished with twin sized bed if needed +/- basic appliances.
There's a small 6-spot parking lot that I pay $65 a month for, and can offer this to sublet if needed, otherwise I'm going to give up the spot. The other option if you have a car is to buy a city permit sticker for $22 and park on the street, but you have to move the car every 48 hrs, and if you come home late at night it can be a pain to find a spot. I did this my 1st year here.
$500 per month (or prorated) plus utilities (when I'm not using heat or air-conditioning it's like $10-15 per month; my last month's bill with heat was $50; I've never lived here in peak of summer, but in the months that I have used air conditioning (not running all day) it's been like $30-40). It's a small space so I only turn on the air conditioning when I'm home.
Building is quiet (I think it's about a 20 unit building), people generally keep to themselves.
Laundry on my floor- $1 for wash; #1 for dry.
Cats ok, but not preferable.
