My one-bedroom apartment in University Heights will be available for move-in anytime after December 1. The next occupant would apply to the management company and take over the lease.
If you would like to move in after December 1, rent will be pro-rated so that you are not paying for the days before you move in. In addition, I am offering $100 off the first month's rent if you can move sometime in December.
Gas, Electricity: Tenant pays
Pets: Cats okay with a fee; dogs not allowed
Parking: Street parking only, but it's not too bad
Laundry: Free, in building
Available: Anytime after December 1, with preference given to applicants who can move in as close to 12/1 as possible.
The apartment has nice big windows and easy access to the 'basement,' where the free laundry and storage rooms are located. It has a bedroom, a living room, a bathroom, a hall, and a kitchen. There is a small but attractive backyard with a clothesline and a shed where you can keep your bike or other large outdoor items. I've enjoyed living here, but circumstances change!
Location: Allen and Kendall (near the Hospital, easy bus/bike to campus or downtown). There's a co-op grocery store only five blocks away. The building is nice and quiet, with three other units and great neighbors.
Heat is included in rent. Water/sewer is $11.50/month, and electricity, cooking gas, and internet are separate.
The landlord is Apex Property Management. I have no complaints about them at all, and they've been very responsive to the maintenance requests I've sent. The apartment is in good shape; there are no unresolved maintenance problems or issues. It's been occupied by non-smokers for at least a year and a half.
The move-in date is flexible; please contact me for more details.
