Former stone barn built in 1864, now sunny, 3-bedroom plus office/den, two bathroom, faculty-owned home. Living room with vaulted ceilings looks out into trees - shady in summer and filled with sunlight in winter. Wood-burning stove and lots of books. Dining area and kitchen have skylights. Large corner lot so plenty of room for playing. Clothesline, compost bin, flower and herb garden. We are in easy walking distance of three parks, a local library, coffee shops, ice-cream store, pizza place, gym, golf course, and Midvale elementary school. Few minutes drive or 25-minute walk to farmers' market at Hilldale on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Right on the busline to campus, and very close to the bike path to campus and downtown. We ride that path every day (15 minutes ride). We also have a weekly cleaning service which you could continue if you wish.
We are renting our home because we are going on sabbatical for the year. You can see a more detailed description of the house on the sabbatical homes website.
