We need to move, but currently renewed for another year on our lease, because of this, we are offering incentives to sign a lease for our specific unit. You're being offered your choice between one of the two following options: 1) 1 practically new AC unit (window unit). We moved in mid-august 2015. We purchased the best/highest powered AC unit available at the time. If I recall correctly it was 400-500 dollars or so. Practically new, it works beautifully. - 2) 200$ cash (or check, or through my bank, or w/e) Not worth as much as the AC unit but maybe you already have an AC unit or don't plan on using one.
Subletting is handled through the property management office. A contract will be signed by both parties contingent upon your signing a lease for our specific unit and us being released from our renewal. You'll basically be signing a brand new lease.
Apartment is close to everything campus related, buses go everywhere, the apartments are all concrete walls which keep outside noise to a minimum.
Storage areas are under lock and key, you provide the lock, management may allow you to take over additional storage if no one is using them.
Unit is on the ground floor level, down two feet of stairs. It is the "basement" level which means you're on the same level as the washing machines and dryers. Someone on the 4th floor walks down multiple flights of stairs to do laundry, you walk down the hall. Moving in? Groceries? Down a few stairs, not up 1-3 flights.
We'll show the apartment ourselves, answer any questions via phone or email, etc.
