Property Details
The building: Prime downtown location, about six blocks from the capitol (walk to the Farmer's Market on Saturday mornings!). Three blocks to Willy Street, four to five blocks to James Madison Park and Lake Mendota. The first floor of the building houses a restaurant (Sujeo), a bar (Star bar), and a coffee shop (Cargo Coffee - amazing for those weekend mornings when you really want a latte). The second floor houses Google, and the third floor houses a dental practice. There is a fitness room on the second floor for residents. There is a grocery store across the street, which is obviously super convenient. There is covered parking in the building, but I can't guarantee that you'll get a spot, and that's a separate payment from the rent. There is also off-street parking available, I believe. The apartment: One (extremely spacious) bathroom with a washing machine and dryer. We are on the side of the building facing the Capitol, and we have a pretty amazing view of it from the living room, kitchen, and balcony. The stainless steel appliances (including dishwasher) are only three years old. The kitchen also features granite countertops. Living room will be furnished with a couch, futon, and comfy rocking chair thingy (unless you have some amazing furniture that you can't live without). Living room has floor to ceiling windows and a sliding door that opens onto the balcony. All rooms feature 10' ceilings. The room: Smaller room available for $715 per month, larger room w/ window and walk-in closet available for $830 per month. I'll use whichever room you don't want, though I would prefer to stay in the smaller room.

To Share Unit With: 1 Women - 31 year old female attorney at a non-profit. Pretty nerdy, but enjoy the occasional night out. Non-smoker, and would prefer another non-smoker. Don't currently get cable, since I pretty much watch everything online through Netflix, etc. Trying really hard to work out more, but am probably averaging once or twice a week right now. I've gotten along really well with almost all past roommates. My current roommate and I became pretty good friends, and it would be awesome if that happened again, but I'm also comfortable just being roommates. I'm extremely conscientious about noise and hope you are too. Average to above-average on cleanliness, would prefer same. Don't currently have any pets.
