To Share Unit With: 1 Men - Seeking co-renter for 2 bedroom beginning October 1, 2015 for one year .
I'm a seasoned and active professional working in downtown Madison looking for a second renter, male or female, for a 2 bedroom apartment in the Vilas neighborhood. The unit is somewhat unique in that the 2 quiet bedrooms and bath are on the second floor and the kitchen and living room on the first floor. There is wood trim and hardwood floors, a lawn and a bit of a garden. The apartment is unfurnished but I can probably furnish the entire unit, if needed, and there is adequate storage. The 3 unit building is on Madison St, close to Vilas park, not far from Trader Joes and about 8 blocks from Camp Randal.
I'm honest, interested in engaging discussions, respectful, and well organized. I work in a technical field in Madison (energy use in buildings), read a lot, design and make furniture when I can; am interested in arts and crafts; stay current with IT issues; get out on rivers and lakes; and exercise. I spend time with my teen children (who do not live with me, but may visit). I've lived and traveled overseas in the past and am interested in maintaining international connections.
I need to be gluten free (gluten is in wheat, rye, & barley). If you bake a lot, it probably would not be a good match. People find me pleasant and enjoy my company. I have an interesting life and enjoy meeting new people. Let's talk or meet and see if we are comfortable with each other.
