Unit 3 is a 1BR with a large Den/Study. It has a large country style eat in kitchen with plenty of storage and cupboard space. The entry at the front of the building is shared with Unit 2, but at the landing/hallway for the second floor, there is a private entrance with private stairwell for Unit 3 where Tenants may store shoes, coats, etc., on the way up to their unit. There is a large private storage area in the rear stairwell/hallway for the third floor; with permission, Unit 3 may use this for storage that can be locked. Paid laundry is in the basement and available to all tenants in both buildings, 511-517 W Mifflin. Newer efficient laundry machines. This building is wired for cable; there are still working land line jacks as well. Sorry, Dish Network, Direct TV, etc., are not allowed to be mounted to the building in ANY way; too much liability (roof is at least 40 feet high where dish would need to go) and the possibility for damaged to the building is too great. We apologize for the inconvenience, but this is something we will not bend on. Pets are possible, but need to talk to management first. Not all dogs will be accepted (huge breed size, any known/recorded temperament issues-including biting, excessive barking issues-prior noise complaints, etc., are not allowed for the enjoyment of all tenants who reside in building), two cat maximum. All pets must be potty/litter trained. Pets must be current on vaccinations; please note that the city of Madison requires pets to be licensed - any fines for not doing so are the responsibility of the tenant(s). All parking is in the rear surface parking lot, the driveway is between buildings 511-517 (we own both), please inquire about parking when calling about unit if you have the need for parking. Lot is well lit and has a surveillance camera. Off street parking is available to our tenants first; any non-tenant is month-to-month in the event a tenant needs a spot we should be able to procure one with 45 days notice or possible less. There is room on site for scooter and bike parking. For those who aren't familiar with the city of Madison, winter parking street parking is pretty tough and alternate side parking and snow emergency parking can cause parking spots to be few and far between, so please keep this in mind when planning in advance for residency. Please note the floorplan noted is slightly different being the front bedroom doesn't have a hallway and the private deck is reached from the rear side of the room; direct any questions to our office.
