All it takes to become a member is a willingness to take part in the cooperative effort that keeps the house running (cooking, cleaning, etc.) Our residents include undergraduates, graduate students, and working adults.
Total monthly expenses include room charges ($283) and a monthly food charge of $100. (The house purchases fresh fruits and vegetables, soymilk, dairy, eggs, grains, etc at bulk/discounted prices for all to use at anytime. The house also purchases soap, eco-friendly household cleaners, and other basics.)
