Paid laundry is in the basement and available to all tenants. Newer efficient laundry machines.
This building is wired for cable; there are still working land line jacks as well. Sorry, Dish Network, Direct TV, etc., are not allowed to be mounted to the building in ANY way; too much liability (roof is at least 40 feet high where dish would need to go) and the possibility for damaged to the building is too great. We apologize for the inconvenience, but this is something we will not bend on.
Pets are possible, but need to talk to management first. Not all dogs will be accepted (huge breed size, any known/recorded temperament issues-including biting, excessive barking issues-prior noise complaints, etc., are not allowed for the enjoyment of all tenants who reside in building), two cat maximum. All pets must be potty/litter trained. Pets must be current on vaccinations; please note that the city of Madison requires pets to be licensed - any fines for not doing so are the responsibility of the tenant(s). If you have extreme animal allergies, this might not be the right apartment for you. Pet friendly building. Within a couple blocks of city of Madison dog park.
Off street parking is available to our tenants first; any non-tenant is month-to-month in the event a tenant needs a spot we should be able to procure one with 45 days notice or possible less. It is possible to park a scooter in the driveway towards the rear of the building; the front driveway space is already rented to a tenant. It is possible to put your bike on the front porch from spring to fall, please do not leave it on the front porch in inclement weather or during winter.
All parking is street parking, but note that we may have parking available in our surface lot at the rear of our buildings on West Mifflin Street- driveway is between 511-517 buildings (we own both). Please inquire about parking when calling about unit if you have the need for parking. For those who aren't familiar with the city of Madison, winter parking street parking is pretty tough and alternate side parking and snow emergency parking can cause parking spots to be few and far between, so please keep this in mind when planning in advance for residency.

Unit is close to UW, on busline, bike path, close to dog park, city tennis/basketball courts just a couple blocks away. Building is located less than a block from the Kohl Center, only about five blocks or so from the main Madison public library on West Mifflin, and just a small jaunt from the Overture Center. You are a couple blocks from CVS Pharmacy, Kelly's Market for gas and convenience items, UW Health location across street from Kelly's Market, Panera and other dining within a couple blocks of unit as well. Great downtown living in a unit with space.
